Dr Josiah Kirk
Having spent several years growing up in Nelson, Dr Josiah returned to the region following his dental studies in both Dunedin and Auckland. He is passionate about oral surgery and relief of pain and also has a keen eye for detail, with particular interest in restorative dental work. He currently works two days a week at Fresh Dental and three as a dental house surgeon at Nelson Hospital, “the best of both worlds!”
Dr Josiah values each person highly; always endeavouring to meet their needs and to make their dental experience an enjoyable one. His empathetic nature and gentle approach to dentistry reassures and puts patients at ease.
Outside of work, Josiah enjoys spending his time outdoors soaking up the Nelson sun, and keeps an active lifestyle through the gym, running, swimming, tramping and skiing. He is also big on family with the majority of his immediate whānau based in Nelson, including his several young nieces and nephews.
