Meet Dr Sam Schroder
Sam graduated from Peninsula Dental School in 2015 and practiced as a general dentist for the UK NHS (National Health Service). In Feb 2024 Sam and her family moved to New Zealand and settled in sunny Nelson. Since arriving, Sam has been working as a general dentist as well as joining the local Forensic Odontology team.
As a teenager and young adult, Sam was a very anxious dental patient so understands how it feels to be ‘in the big chair’. Sam makes every effort to make you feel calm and relaxed during your treatment, whether it be fillings, dentures, crowns and bridges, extractions or gum repair. In the UK Sam also developed a passion for cosmetic dentistry and has experience with clear braces and aligners to straighten teeth.
Outside of work
Sam particularly enjoys exploring the great kiwi outdoors with her family.
